- This 1940’s gray skirt suit was worn by the character Eva Peron portrayed by actress Madonna in the 1996 motion picture “Evita”
- The outfit consists of a gray jacket with three-quarter length cuffed sleeves, accordion-pleat peplum, and a matching mid-length skirt
- The jacket has the original costume company label sewn inside and both garments have original production labels sewn inside which read “Madonna”
- The actress wore the outfit onscreen during the musical number “And the Money Kept Rolling In” while handing out cooking pots during Eva’s Relief Fund tour, and is also seen clearly handing out blankets in a black and white photo on the floor of the looted “La Prensa” office during the number “Santa Evita”
