About Us
Marquee Capital is a private real estate investment and asset management firm with a focus on open air retail across the Midwest. Founded in 2008 as the real estate arm of Marcus Investments, the firm rebranded as Marquee Capital in 2023 to reflect its evolution as an investment platform. Over the past 17 years, Marquee has transacted on more than $900 million of real estate and currently manages a portfolio valued at over $450 million.
Today, Marquee oversees more than 2.7 million square feet of retail space at occupancy of over 90% anchored by a roster of national and regional tenants throughout the Midwest. The firm is also active investing across the senior housing, industrial and multifamily sectors.
Marquee operates with a 14 person team including dedicated asset management, accounting, and property management functions. The firm’s investor base has grown to include high net worth individuals, family offices, and institutional partners, anchored by relationships built and maintained over decades.
What sets Marquee apart is the combination of disciplined underwriting, hands on asset management by a vertically integrated team, and relationships with tenants and capital partners that allow the firm to source, execute, and create value where larger or less focused firms cannot.
